PDG JOAN MOORE - BIO

I joined Lions in May 1992 and have served as Club President, Editor of the Club Newsletter, Treasurer, and Club Director. I have17 years perfect attendance and have sponsored 4 members in to the world of Lionism

At the district level I have held 11positions on cabinet. This is my 15th year on cabinet and I currently serve as Public Relations and Lions Information Chairman, Honorary Chairman and have a 3 year International Appointment as LCIF Chairman.

At the MD5 level I served as DG in 2001-2002 and the following year was the Sask. Rep. I also served 1 1/2 years as MD5 Youth Exchange Chairman as I finished the term for PDG James Kraus.

I have attended 10 International Conventions, 16 USA/Canada Forums, 24 District 5CE Conventions and 61 Conventions in other districts in Sask..and North & South Dakota.

I have a Judge Brian Stevenson Fellowship, A Life Membership in the Lions Foundation of Canada and have received 4 District Governor Appreciation Awards I also have a Garnet Davis Fellowship and a DOGGUIDES LFC Fellowship Award, 5 International Presidents Certificates of Appreciation and 1 International Presidents Medal. I am a Certified Guiding Lion and have served as President of the Sask. Lion Pin Traders, 2years as Chairman of the Sask.PDG Association and was Host Club Pin Chairman at the USA/Canada Forum in Saskatoon.

I am retired but work part time as a Matron at the RCMP cells in Fort Qu'Appelle. Past Council Chairman Bob and I have 4 children, 8 almost perfect grandchildren and 4 awesome great grandchildren
